Hello and Goodbye Drop In

Comings and goings are woven into the missionary life of the Daughters of St. Paul — and March is giving us plenty to celebrate!

Over the past two years, many of you have come to know and love Sister Margaret Timothy. Now she’s heading west, having been appointed Superior of our community in Los Angeles. While we’ll miss her joyful presence here in Old Town Alexandria, we know she’ll be a blessing to her new community.

Stepping into the role of Superior here at home is another familiar and much-loved face from the Book Center: Sister Joan Paula. We’re delighted to welcome her in this new leadership role!

And we are thrilled to introduce Sr. Phoebe, a native of Alexandria, who has just made her first profession and has been assigned to our community! What a joy to welcome one of our own back home as a newly professed sister.

Like our father, Saint Paul the Apostle, our mission keeps us on the move — preaching, publishing, and planting seeds of faith wherever we’re sent.

So mark your calendar! Join us for an informal drop-in gathering on March 14 from 1:30–3:30 pm. Come say goodbye, welcome our sisters, and celebrate the beautiful adventure of religious life. We’d love to see you!
