Join us for a special presentation and book signing with Daniel Fitzpatrick, author of Restoring the Lord’s Day: How Reclaiming Sunday Can Revive Our Human Nature. The presentation considers the importance of Lord’s Day as the focal point of human life on earth, a taste of the Heaven toward which we are journeying. It asks about the challenges to celebrating Lord’s Day in our time and suggests some practical means for renewing such celebration.

Daniel Fitzpatrick is the author of two novels, two poetry collections, a translation of Dante’s Divine Comedy, and Restoring the Lord’s Day: How Reclaiming Sunday Can Revive Our Human Nature. He is a teacher at Jesuit High School and the editor of Joie de Vivre: a Journal of Art, Culture, and Letters for South Louisiana. He lives in Metairie with his wife and four children.
