- If they aren’t already, make Scripture and the sacraments a regular part of your life. Make sure that you are familiar with God’s word.
- During your regular prayer time, make sure you are checking in with the Holy Spirit and asking where he is leading.
- Spend some time looking back and try to identify one time when the Lord worked through you. What were the circumstances? What might be a way the Holy Spirit likes to get my attention?
- When was the last time I went to confession? Is it time to go again?
