Get to Know Haley Stewart

Haley Stewart describes herself as a bookish mama of four and wife to a beekeeper. Writer, speaker, podcaster, and Catholic convert. She sometimes leads pilgrimages, and, she says, she always need more bookshelves. She is the Managing Editor of Word on Fire Votive.

Haley is the award-winning author of The Sister Seraphina Mysteries, a series for young readers. Haley and her husband have four children, an enormous dog named Samwise, and a grumpy cat named Lillian, but (as far as they know) no mice under the floorboards.

Her family lived on a farm for a year, and she wrote a book about it (for grown-ups) titled The Grace of Enough: Pursuing Less and Living More in a Throwaway Culture. She is also the author of Jane Austen’s Genius Guide to Life. She has contributed to Evangelization & Culture, Plough, the University of Notre Dame’s Church Life Journal, Public Discourse, and America.
