For more than 15 years, Sr Jennifer Tecla has been offering Media Mindfulness presentations that invite individuals and communities to reflect on the influence of media through the lens of Catholic faith and values. Her focus is to help audiences (particularly teens, young adults and adults) recognize how media shapes our hearts, minds, and relationships with God and others, and to inspire a more intentional, faith-filled approach to the messages we create and consume.
Through parish programs, schools, and diocesan events, Sr Jennifer Tecla has guided participants in discovering how mindful engagement with media can become a form of discipleship—one that strengthens our witness to the Gospel in today’s digital culture.
Currently, she serves as the manager of Pauline Books and Media in Miami, Florida, where she continues to support the Church’s evangelizing mission by providing Catholic resources that nourish spiritual growth and community life.
Rooted in the Catholic tradition of discernment, Sr Jennifer Tecla’s work in media mindfulness encourages others to seek truth, beauty, and goodness in all forms of communication, and to let Christ be the guiding light in every digital encounter.
