For decades, our Pauline Books & Media Center has been a trusted source for Catholic books and gifts in the Boston area. From baby’s first Bible to the spiritual classics and beyond, we seek to accompany God’s people in all of life’s chapters by offering our patrons personalized recommendations—and above all, a listening ear.
What distinguishes us from traditional bookstores is the beating heart of our ministry: Jesus present in the Blessed Sacrament. Our chapel is open to the public for prayer during book center hours.
In addition to making available the best in Catholic print media, we serve our local faith community through occasional talks, book signings, and seasonal family events.
We are happy to provide interested young women with information on vocational discernment opportunities, both online and in person at our nearby Boston motherhouse. Contact us, and we can help you connect with a sister who will assist you in exploring religious life in more detail. Know that we are praying for you!
Are you a lay person who is feeling called to share in the mission of proclaiming God’s Word through the media? We invite you to learn more about the Association of Pauline Cooperators. Contact us for information about how you can get involved.
“A wonderful store to browse through. Many come for a Baptism, Communion or Confirmation gift but there is so much else. Take the time to stop by, say a prayer in the chapel, and pick up something that brings you peace.”

“An excellent selection of books, gifts, and sacramentals. There is something for everyone and every budget. Plus, the ministry is a great one to support. Don’t forget to say hello to the Lord in the on-site chapel.”

“I love that the Sisters and other staff or volunteers are so forthcoming with suggestions for reading, support, and formation. They provide a wealth of material for every season and will bring it to local parishes as well!”
