Fr. Matthew Schneider talks about his book, God Loves the Autistic Mind: Prayer Guide for Those on the Spectrum and Those Who Love Us, and the thoughts and process that went into creating a book for an autistic audience. (See here for more videos from Fr. Matthew.)

Fr. Matthew Schneider, a priest on the autism spectrum, knows the challenges that autistics face in prayer, as well as the autistic traits that can be leveraged to deepen one’s prayer. With clarity and honesty, he shares from his own experience and that of others on the spectrum to give hope and confidence to readers. This groundbreaking book includes 52 meditations, which provide a coherent progression of material for prayer that can be used on a daily or weekly basis.

Who We Are

The Daughters of St. Paul, a congregation of Catholic women religious, live our vocation in service to God’s people by proclaiming the Gospel through all forms of media. Our profoundly Eucharistic spirituality roots us in Jesus so that no matter what we do—writing, graphic design, radio, video, social media, music, art—we may be a communication of Christ’s love to every person we encounter.

Connect with Us

With unconditional faith that God’s word is alive and active, the Sisters proclaim the luminous way of life that is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through spiritual and faith formation, presentations, retreats and conferences, book studies, and book fairs, the Sisters accompany people in their walk with Christ, nourishing their minds and filling their hearts.
